4th Oxford Cubs

We really enjoyed the special [Cubs] 100th birthday events but since then we’ve also been very busy!

Our Spring term included lots of badge work. We took part in the great scrapheap challenge where about 120 Cubs were read a story and then had to create something from the story from junk modelling.   We also spent a night sleeping inside Oxford Castle with several groups form the rest of the district.

We are looking forward to the rest of the year

Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10½ who:

  • Master new skills and try new things
  • Have fun and go on adventures
  • Make friends
  • Are curious about the world around them
  • Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond

Every week, they gather in their Cub Pack to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.
