Breaking News!

Our Scout section has been dormant since the beginning of 2017 BUT on the 8th June 2017 it will reopen having moved days from Friday to Thursday. It will also start at the slightly earlier time of 7pm.

If you have any young people aged 10.5-14 they will be more than welcome to turn up and try out Scouting in Botley.

Join adventure at the Fourth!

Scouting is about helping young people fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves.

Through the adventure of Scouting, young people get to try exciting activities in a safe environment and have their first taste of responsibility. We give young people experiences they will never forget! When a Beaver Scout wakes up the morning after a sleepover, or a Cub Scout has just got over their fear of heights by completing their first abseil, that’s adventure!

All our adventures are made possible by the efforts of our dedicated team of hard-working adult volunteers. Our training scheme and one-to-one support ensures that every volunteer gets to make the best use of their skills and talents. Could you get involved?

Finally, at the 4th Oxford, all sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers) are open to both boys and girls.

We look forward to you joining us.
