Community Family Fun Day to celebrate 75 years of the Oxford-Bonn twinning organised by 4th Oxford Scout Group

We helped provide a very successful Community Family Day on Saturday 18th June at the Oxford Rugby Club.

We had loads of family friendly activities including archery, tennis, football shoot at goal, climbing wall, cross a rope bridge and MUCH more. We would like to thank all of the local groups who participated in making it such an enjoyable day and a huge thanks for all of the families who attended and filled the afternoon with fun!

Join adventure at the Fourth!

As Scouts, we believe in empowering young people with skills for life.
Helping young people fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves.

Through the adventure of Scouting, young people get to try exciting activities in a safe environment and have their first taste of responsibility. We give young people experiences they will never forget! When a Beaver Scout wakes up the morning after a sleepover, or a Cub Scout has just got over their fear of heights by completing their first abseil, that’s adventure!

All our adventures are made possible by the efforts of our dedicated team of hard-working adult volunteers. Our training scheme and one-to-one support ensures that every volunteer gets to make the best use of their skills and talents. Could you get involved?

Finally, at the 4th Oxford, all sections (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers) are open to both boys and girls.

We look forward to you joining us.
